Panther Island ā€“ 2006 Vision

The City of Fort Worth's Comprehensive Plan calls for greater density in districts close to downtown, including Panther Island. The district is impacted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers flood control project; however, no federal money is being used to accomplish the City's sustainable growth goals for the district. The original Standards and Guidelines were adopted by the City of Fort Worth in 2006.
